By now I think most of us consumers have seen the escalation in Supermarket prices caused by over 2 long years of Covid 19 restrictions.
The Australian Financial Review recently published headlines “THE UGLY SIDE OF BEAUTY PRICES SKYROCKETING” (AFR 14APR2022) highlights our serious dilemma. Key ingredients cost have risen 2-3X as well as shipping and handling.
Why are we making this change?
Cherub Rubs last price review was back in 2017 and due in 2019 when we faced the initial deadly news from Wuhan.
We withheld our price review thinking it could be postponed for 6-12 months. Unfortunately with 2 years of lockdown conditions and over 5years of delay we are now faced with such massive increase in raw material & logistics costs.
Not only shipping cost have risen in quantum leaps, stricter Customs clearance means more added costs.
Labour shortage and rising costs including energy prices further exacerbate the pressure on our business.
When will this happen?
We are now forced to update our prices which will be effective 1 June 2022.
We hope and trust our customers understands our situation which is totally out of our own control.
